About the role

The Aftermarket Digital Asset Specialist supports Komatsu’s Digital Transformation, focusing on eCommerce and parts product information databases. This role creates and implements enrichment activities for images in customer-facing digital channels, executes product renderings, prioritizes photographed images, and drives digital asset strategies to grow Komatsu’s eCommerce platform with mining customers.

Responsibilities

  • Design high-quality product renderings to enhance the customer buying experience on e-commerce platforms.
  • Drive collaboration between teams to set and execute prioritization of aftermarket parts through the PhotoBox.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure product images and metadata support effective search, filtering, comparison, and purchasing experiences.
  • Assist in new product development testing and bug fixing of live production environments.
  • Analyze sales data to assign digital asset priorities.
  • Support the implementation of Komatsu’s Digital Transformation, including fleet, e-commerce, and product information databases.
  • Create and drive image enrichment strategies for e-commerce, focusing on enhancing customer experience.
  • Ensure product images support effective search, filtering, comparison, and purchasing experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with the product information team and mining business units to support eCommerce growth strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, business, communications, illustration, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in Aftermarket Product Management, Aftermarket Marketing, eCommerce, Product Information Management, Digital Marketing, or related commercial functions.
  • Ability to work independently and transition from tactical enrichment activities to strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
