About the Role

As a Teacher supporting out-of-school programs, you will lead, mentor, and model best practices for less experienced staff, implement tailored curricula, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children. You will partner with parents, collaborate with center staff and leadership to meet enrollment and accreditation goals, and build positive relationships with families, community contacts, and licensing authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom activities and support child development.
• Foster family engagement and contribute to center success and community building.
• Deliver personalized care, ensure safety, and support children’s learning and growth in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or NAEYC candidacy.
• Certifications in CPR and First Aid.
• Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Proficiency in English communication.

Qualifications & Skills

• Outstanding customer service and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively.
• Preferred experience in early childhood education.
• Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred state trainer approval.
