After School STEM / Technology Instructor
About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Lead instructors guide students through our world-class project-based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design, and more!
Responsibilities
- Guide students through our project-based learning curriculum
- Work in 6-8 week sessions during the full school year
- Opportunities to work 35+ hours/week in the summer upon completion of the school year program
- Work after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), Monday through Friday
- Must be at least 21 years old and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology
- Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12/1
- Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc.
- Or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

- Experience with technology or teaching preferred
- Reliable transportation throughout Saugus school district
- Must be available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), Monday through Friday
