After School STEM / Technology Instructor

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our after school programs. Lead instructors guide students through our world-class project-based learning curriculum to learn new technology skills in coding, Minecraft, ROBLOX, video editing, game design, and more!

Responsibilities

• Guide students through our project-based learning curriculum
• Work in 6-8 week sessions during the full school year
• Opportunities to work 35+ hours/week in the summer upon completion of the school year program
• Work after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), Monday through Friday
• Must be at least 21 years old and have experience working with children ages 8-14 and/or technology
• Experience with children in an educational setting is preferred but not required
• Comfortable working with teacher-to-student ratios of 12/1
• Strong technology skills preferred, such as a background in 3D modeling, digital arts, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, modifying games, video editing, competitive gaming, etc.
• Or significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox, including modding or streaming

• Reliable transportation throughout Saugus school district
• Must be available after school hours (approximately 2:00 - 5:00), Monday through Friday
