We are seeking energetic, dependable, and positive Sports Coaches to lead after-school sports and enrichment programs at elementary and middle schools throughout Fullerton, Buena Park, Anaheim, and surrounding communities. Position Overview As an AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS COACH, you will lead structured sports activities and enrichment programs for students in grades TK-8. Coaches are responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment while teaching sports fundamentals, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship. Compensation $50 per hourPart-time positionSchool-year scheduleAdditional coaching opportunities availableProfessional training provided RESPONSIBILITIES Lead after-school sports and enrichment programsFollow strict guidelines given by the school Teach age-appropriate sports skills and activitiesCreate a fun, inclusive, and positive environment for studentsPromote teamwork, leadership, confidence, and sportsmanshipManage groups of students while maintaining safety and engagementCommunicate effectively with school staff, parents, and program leadershipSet up and break down sports equipmentServe as a positive role model for studentsFollow all program policies and safety proceduresAttend monthly site-based team meetings as required by the District SPORTS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BasketballSoccerFlag FootballBaseball / T-BallMulti-Sport Programs QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED required (college degree preferred)4-6 years Coaching, teaching, childcare, recreation, or youth development experience Strong communication and leadership skillsPositive attitude and professional demeanorReliable transportationAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable leading groups of children in an active environmentAbility to lift and move sports equipment up to 25 pounds COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS Ability to pass a criminal background check and Live Scan clearanceMandated Reporter TrainingTB ClearanceCPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain WHY JOIN I9 SPORTS?
