About the role
Our part time Site Directors oversee our afterschool program at one of many elementary schools throughout Hutto ISD.
Responsibilities
- Guiding staff and impacting the lives of children from Preschool to 5th grade
- Creatively designing exciting program curriculum and maintaining supplies for kid-friendly activities
- Leading games, songs, sports, and special events
- Maintaining team spirit through department meetings held every Monday around noon
- Connecting with parents during pick-up time about program activities and their children's day
- Ensuring safety by timely and accurate record keeping
- Managing and developing a team of 2-4 counselors to achieve a quality afterschool program
Qualifications
- At least 6 months of Licensed childcare experience or experience in a public/private accredited school
- At least 30 clock hours of training in child/youth development received in the last two months, with documentation, or willingness to earn it through the YMCA within the first week of hiring
- Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma
- Experience supervising and motivating a team
- Ability to pass a drug test and background checks

Pay
- Hours: 2:00 to 6:00 pm Monday-Friday
- Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience
