After School Site Director / Early Learning Professional
AlphaBEST Education provides extended day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students while they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment.
About the role
As an AlphaBEST Site Director, you'll lead a meaningful after-school program that helps kids learn, grow, and thrive. We're looking for an early learning professional who enjoys working with children in a structured, high-energy environment, feels confident taking the lead, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality student and family experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the site: schedules, ratios, staffing, and documentation
- Oversee and facilitate curriculum implementation and ensure activities meet program expectations
- Build a safe and inclusive environment aligned with licensing requirements and AlphaBEST standards
- Make child safety the top priority at all times
- Maintain licensing compliance, documentation, and readiness for inspections
- Track and manage site resources, attendance, and food program requirements
- Supervise and mentor your site team, providing coaching and feedback, and ensuring training requirements are met
- Represent AlphaBEST with professionalism at school and community events
- Build strong relationships with families, school staff, and AlphaBEST leadership to support student success
Requirements
- Must have a BA/BS or CDA in education
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
- At least 3 years of experience in a school-age program or teaching setting preferred
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations
- Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards

Pay
Starting at $20.50 an hour, based on education.
Schedule
2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, Monday - Friday (Part-time, no weekends).
