Responsibilities
- Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
- Create memorable experiences for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for martial arts
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!) prepared with the lesson plan for the day
- Help children understand why martial arts is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
Requirements
- A fun, enthusiastic, adaptable instructor
- Experience teaching school age children
- Excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
- Knowledge of creating a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- The ability to bring your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
- Cooperation, supportiveness, flexibility, dependability, proactiveness, and a desire for autonomy
Qualifications
- Relevant teaching experience
- If lacking formal teaching experience, share any other relevant experience or training in a cover letter or on the application questionnaire
