About the role
At Kamaʻāina Kids, our After School Program Managers lead incredible teams, create memorable experiences for keiki, and ensure every afternoon is safe, engaging, and full of opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Lead an after-school program serving elementary-age keiki
- Coach, mentor, and support Group Leaders and Aides
- Create a fun, welcoming environment where children feel safe and engaged
- Plan activities including games, enrichment, homework support, and outdoor play
- Build positive relationships with families, school staff, and your team
- Manage daily attendance, communication, and site operations
- Help develop future leaders while creating an amazing experience for every child
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with and leading groups of children
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Availability Monday–Friday afternoons

Pay

Schedule
- Part-time
- Monday–Friday afternoons
- Approximately 1:30 PM–5:30 PM
- Wednesdays begin around 12:30 PM for early release
- No evenings
- No weekends
- No holiday shifts
