After School Enrichment Program Instructor

About the role

Get paid to have fun hanging out with kids, 18 months to 12 years of age, as you teach them how to create art! We need people to help spread our passion for art education as a Part-Time Children's Art Teacher who believes slime, clay, paint, and glitter should be a part of every young artist's life. Permanent and seasonal positions are available.

This position is ideal for graphic designers, college students, retired teachers, paraeducators, freelance artists, ceramic artists, daycare providers, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students during art classes and camps.
• Teach children how to create fridge-worthy masterpieces, learn art concepts, and experiment with various art materials.
• Work with age-specific, tailored curricula for weekly classes, camps, workshops, and homeschool classes.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Available three or more days a week during afternoon hours (2-6 PM) for After School Programs during the school year.
• More hours available during no-school days and summer months; mornings, early evenings, and weekends also possible for additional availability.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, creative, and love working with kids.
• Truly enjoy making a mess and believe kids should be messy too.
• A reliable car is required.

Pay

$17.00 - $21.00 per hour.
