Trinity is currently hiring a part-time After School Counselor, within our ASCARE (After School Care) Program.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate care, supervision, and guidance to the children in the childcare program.
• Help provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
• Act as positive role models and help establish positive relationships with participants and their families.

Qualifications

• School-Age Child Care Credential or other office‑recognized credential specific to the school‑age developmental period and one year experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
• Valid New York State driver's license and ability to transport children.
• Ability to go up and down stairs; basic computer skills.
• Must pass criminal background check and medical clearance.
• Ability to participate in required training and staff development; must be reliable, consistent, and punctual.
• Associate’s degree in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation or a related field; OR High School diploma or equivalent and two years direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.

Pay

Salary - $19.68 (presumably hourly).

Schedule

Part‑time position.
