About the role
The After School Counselor's primary role is fostering youth development in an after school setting by leading elementary students in enrichment activities. This role is non-exempt, part-time, averaging 17-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Foster youth development through enrichment activities
- Lead elementary students in various after school settings
- Develop kids to reach their full potential
- Be a role model to kids in the community
Requirements
- At least 17 years of age
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred, with some post-secondary training highly preferred
- A passion and love for working with elementary school-aged children
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children is preferred
- Able to work Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the school calendar year
- Earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory)
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check
- Valid driver’s license or Valid ID
- Dependable transportation
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued

Pay

Schedule
