After School Common Area Supervisor

The Packer Collegiate Institute is seeking an energetic, kind, student-centered After School Common Area Supervisor to work in the Packer+ afterschool program. Essential Functions Maintain an active presence in the common areas of the school from 3:00 pm -6:00 pm each day that classes are in sessionEnsure the health and safety of each studentDirect all students to a supervised area of the schoolMaintain discipline and report any problems in a timely fashionCommunicate with the front security desk to address any issues that ariseConduct full sweeps of the school every 30 minutes between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pmTake all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilitiesReport all student injuries, accidents, and illnesses as soon as possibleParticipate in and maintain order during periodic fire safety drillsProvide additional support as needed Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalentExperience working with students in grades K-12 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
