About the role
Sticky Fingers Cooking is looking for enthusiastic part-time After School Children's Enrichment Cooking Instructors in the Boulder/Longmont/Louisville/Superior area to help cultivate culinary curiosity in kids. Training will start as soon as possible for Fall classes (beginning August/September).

Responsibilities
- Lead Hands-On Cooking Classes: Teach kids how to chop, mix, measure, and create healthy, exciting recipes from around the world.
- Spark Creativity: Introduce kids to new ingredients, cuisines, and cultures in an engaging, interactive way.
- Stay Organized: Prepare for classes using provided curricula, shop for fresh ingredients, and set up fun, safe kitchen environments.
- Be the Face of Fun: Inspire and encourage kids as they gain confidence in the kitchen.
- Arrive on campus 20–30 minutes prior to scheduled class time (varies per school).
- Lift up to 30 lbs to store and transport materials.
Requirements
- Experienced in working with kids of various ages and backgrounds.
- Available to teach 1-hour classes (on campus 90+ minutes) at least 2 days a week between 2–5 PM, Mondays–Thursdays (some Fridays may be available). Typically only 1 class per day.
- Must be available beginning at 2 PM.
- Punctual, reliable, and comfortable managing groups of 8–14 kids.
- Able to commit to teaching sessions that run 4–12 weeks.
- Willing to obtain a ServSafe Food Handler Certification.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive.
Pay
Competitive pay of $65 for a one-hour class, plus food reimbursement.

Schedule
- Part-time, typically 1–5 PM on weekdays (Mondays–Thursdays, with some Fridays available).

A Day in the Life
As a Sticky Fingers Cooking instructor, you'll travel to different schools in your area to bring "the kitchen" to kids. Using our tried-and-true recipes, you'll teach essential cooking skills, food safety, and the history and culture behind each dish—all while fostering creativity and confidence.
