After School Care Leader - Extended Learning

Duties

• Plans and implements activities that reflect the vision and mission of the ASC program and grade level theme.
• Leads students through various activities.
• Creates a safe, engaging and supportive atmosphere for students.
• Handles day to day operations.
• Ensures the health and safety of students.

Position Details

• Work Year: 9 Months
• School Year: 2026-2027
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:15 PM - 5:30 PM, Schedule may vary based on operational needs
• Hourly Rate: $20.00/Hour

Minimum Qualifications

• According to the Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR)17-896-1, candidates shall meet one of the qualifications:
• Two (2) years of college education and six (6) months of experience in working with school-age children;
• Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and six (6) months of experience working with school-age children;
• High School Diploma or equivalent and nine (9) months of experience working with school-age children;
• Attends orientation prior to the start of the school year facilitated by Punahou School.
