Before and After School Care Lead

About the role

The After School Care Lead position at Hand in Hand Christian Montessori – Roseville Campus is responsible for directing the after-school care team, communicating with parents, and caring for preschool and kindergarteners aged 3-6.

Responsibilities

• Direct the after-school care team
• Communicate with parents
• Care for children aged 3-6
• Engage and run large group times with 20 students
• Oversight of large group activities during open play times to ensure safety and good social/emotional skills

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in childcare and camp type activity leading
• A minimum of 12 credits in early childhood education or related field

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, responsible, creative, and reliable
• Familiar with the needs of children

Skills

• Ability to engage and run large group times with 20 students
• Oversee a large group of children during open play times to ensure safety and good social/emotional skills

Benefits

Compensation starts at $21/hour.

Schedule

3:00 – 5:15pm Monday – Friday during the school year
