After-School Basketball Coach

About the Program

Score Hoops 3on3 is a fast-growing youth basketball initiative designed to help young athletes develop skills, communication, and confidence through small-sided play. We’ve partnered with Mesa Public Schools to launch after-school programs across multiple campuses this fall and we’re building a team of energetic, reliable coaches to lead the way. Coaches will have the opportunity to work at one or more school locations based on their availability and interest.

Qualifications

• Strong Basketball Coaching and general coaching skills, including experience leading youth or school-age athletes.
• Solid basketball knowledge, including rules, fundamentals, and game strategy.
• Solid communication skills, with the ability to engage students and collaborate with families and staff.
• Training skills, including designing practice plans, skill progression, and performance feedback.
• Background working in after-school or youth development programs is preferred.
• Ability to pass any required background checks and comply with child safety guidelines.
• Availability during after-school hours and reliable transportation are required.
