After-School Babysitter for Young Girls

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and caring babysitter to provide after-school care for our two young daughters, Teagen (6) and Harper (7), in Indianapolis, IN. The position will start on Monday, February 2, 2026, and continue until Saturday, August 1, 2026. Regular hours are weekdays from 3 PM to 6 PM.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the girls from school
• Take the girls to the library for homework completion
• Drive the girls home
• Occasional snack and meal preparation
• Create fun activities and play games with the girls

Requirements

• Comfortable with dogs
• A dependable vehicle for transportation
• A patient and understanding approach

Qualifications

• Experience with children who have neurodevelopmental delays

Skills

• Ability to prepare snacks and meals
• Knowledge of basic first aid
• Good communication skills

$16 - $18 per hour
