After-School Babysitter for School-Age Children

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and energetic babysitter for our children, ages 7 and 9, in South Bend, IN. The position involves meeting the kids at the bus stop and supervising them from Monday through Friday from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Start date is Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Supervising homework and chores
• Planning fun activities and games
• Monitoring the 9‑year‑old’s asthma and administering medication as needed
• Light cleaning and cooking may be required

Requirements

• Experience with children, particularly those with special needs, is a plus
• Dependable, positive, and enjoys an active environment
• No pets in the household; no driving or bedtime duties required
