After-School Babysitter for School-Age Children

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and energetic after-school caregiver for our two children, ages 7 and 5, located in Scotch Plains, Newark, NJ. The position is for Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM. Responsibilities include picking the kids up from school, driving them safely to and from activities and playdates, coordinating and supervising playdates, assisting with homework, and helping with snacks and simple routines. The ideal candidate should be comfortable around our two friendly dogs and possess a safe driving record and reliable transportation. Dependability, patience, organization, and a love for working with kids are essential. Experience in childcare, teaching, or caring for multiple school-age children is a plus. We are seeking someone interested in a regular, ongoing position who can become a consistent and trusted part of our family routine.
