After School Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a kind, fun, reliable, and proactive babysitter to provide after-school care for our two children—a 4-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl—in New York, NY. The position starts on August 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with a long-term commitment and open communication valued. This role offers approximately 25 hours per week beginning early September.

Our friendly household includes a 10 lb mini dachshund.

Responsibilities

• Pick up the children from school
• Drive the children to after-school activities
• Support light homework
• Engage in play with the children
• Prepare snacks and simple dinners
• Light cleaning duties, including using the dishwasher, kids' laundry once a week, and organizing toys

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, starting August 28, 2026.
