After School Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and flexible after-school babysitter in Newark, NJ, for the 2026-2027 school year, starting in September. The position involves caring for our two children, ages 7 and 11.

Responsibilities

• Pick up our 7-year-old son from school in Basking Ridge at 3:30 PM
• Drive both children to various after-school sports and activities
• Help with homework
• Occasionally prepare easy dinners

Schedule

• 3–4 days a week (Monday–Thursday) from 3:30 PM to approximately 6:30 or 7:00 PM
• Occasional later evenings planned in advance
• Ability to help some mornings from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM is a plus but not essential

Requirements

• Flexibility with inconsistent work schedules
