After-School Babysitter

About the role

We are seeking a responsible babysitter to care for our 7-year-old son in Lexington, KY. The role begins on July 28, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 10:30 PM, with regular hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM until August 19, 2026. After August 19, responsibilities will include morning supervision before school, helping him get on the bus, and after-school care. Our household includes three small dogs and a husky/Shepherd mix.

Responsibilities

• Morning supervision before school and helping him get on the bus (after August 19)
• After-school care including homework assistance
• Helping him get off the bus
• Preparing a provided snack until dinner time
• Driving and feeding
• Assisting with letting pets in and out (our son can help with this)

Requirements

• Must have a reliable car for transportation to our home
• Must be comfortable around dogs (three small dogs and a husky/Shepherd mix)

The role does not involve bathing or bedtime routines.
