Affordable Property Manager II

About the role

We are seeking a motivated property manager to oversee the operations of our properties. This role involves supervising administrative, leasing, and maintenance staff to ensure tenant satisfaction. The ideal candidate will develop strategies that support both day-to-day operations and long-term company goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rent and fees are collected on time and authorize corrective/legal action as required.
• Develop a deep understanding of the competition to make recommendations to the Senior Property Manager about rental rates, renewal rents, and marketing strategies.
• Work with property staff to review and approve new resident applications.
• Closely work with property owner representatives on overall property strategy and property performance goals.
• Spearhead annual property audits and prepare properties for internal and external property reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in property management
• A team-minded leader with the ability to hire, train, and supervise fantastic staff
• Discerning and strategic in negotiating contracts, monitoring capital improvements, and evaluating staff performance
• Proficiency in affordable housing, leadership skills, Microsoft Office, and Yardi software

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Experience with affordable housing regulations
• Knowledge of Yardi software

Pay

Position pay range $82,441 - $97,760 USD

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
