Affordable Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a trustworthy Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at JMC. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for executing daily maintenance requests, handling emergency situations, and performing various repairs and updates to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily maintenance requests professionally and expeditiously.
• Be available for emergency maintenance needs, including flood situations and back-to-back move-ins.
• Make repairs involving doors, locks, tiles, handrails, and other building components.
• Maintain relationships with outside contractors and suppliers.
• Manage paperwork and invoices related to your work.

Requirements

• 6 months+ of trade experience or building maintenance.
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
• A passion for fixing things and improving living spaces.
• Ability to identify and address safety concerns.
• Specialized trade experience in plumbing, electrical, roofing, or HVAC is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Schedule

The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. An on-call rotation is required.

Pay

The position pay range is $29 - $33 USD per hour.
