Affordable Community Director

About the role

Elmington Living is a premier property management company based in Nashville, TN, committed to providing an unrivaled community experience for residents across the US. An Affordable Community Director is essential to the property's overall operations, success, and tenant satisfaction, overseeing vendor relations, property maintenance, financial, and leasing performance of the community.

This position is eligible for up to $500 a month in bonus potential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operations by overseeing vendor relations, property maintenance, financial, and leasing performance of the community.
• Meet targeted revenue goals by exceeding occupancy budgets, improving resident retention, and monitoring the property's financial performance.
• Effectively manage staff, operations, and financial performance of the community.
• Be the primary representative of Elmington to residents, vendors, and employees.
• Constantly learn and search for ways to improve the business.
• Think creatively and conceptualize new ideas to improve the business.
• Possess great energy, enjoy challenges, and constantly set and reach new goals.
• Successfully execute Elmington's non-negotiables for community performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of multi-family property management experience required.
• Affordable/tax credit experience required.
• Must be willing to work weekends.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work Environment

Frequently sit, stand, and walk, with regular requirements to talk or hear and use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Occasional requirements to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, with a moderate noise level and temperature in the workplace.

Ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors and travel up to 10% of the time.
