Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain affordability models and tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure affordability is integrated into system design
• Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to reduce costs while maintaining system performance
• Support the development and implementation of affordability strategies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in affordability engineering or related field
• Active Secret clearance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with cost modeling and analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field preferred
• Experience with systems engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with MATLAB or similar programming languages
• Understanding of financial modeling techniques
