About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide short-term counseling services to TELUS Health EAP clients in person in Sept-Îles;
- Adapt short-term interventions using a solution-focused and collaborative approach;
- Manage varied clinical cases and support clients at different risk levels;
- Facilitate referrals to appropriate community resources as needed.
Requirements
- Hold a master’s or doctoral degree related to social work, psychology, psychoeducation, psychotherapy, or sexology;
- Be a member in good standing of your professional order in Quebec (e.g., OTSTCFQ, OPQ, OPSQ, OPPQ, etc.);
- Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience;
- Have post-graduate counseling experience with diverse populations;
- Be able to establish short-term therapeutic goals using a solution-focused approach;
- Be comfortable managing high-risk situations and knowledgeable about available community resources.
