Position Summary

As an Affidavit Specialist, you will be responsible for handling all Firm's Affidavit Requests, reviewing applicable files, drafting and compiling affidavits, ordering affidavits, uploading correspondence, pulling work queues, working with attorneys, logging executed affidavits, and performing general clerical duties.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • Legal field certificate/2-yr degree (experience may be substituted for education)
  • Background in Retail Claims and Creditors’ Rights Laws preferred
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with basic office hardware such as scanners, fax machine, copiers, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dependability
