Affective Needs Teacher - Riverview School
Riverview School seeks an Affective Needs Teacher (Severe Needs) for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. Experience with Affective Needs and/or Language Development (Dual Language schools) is a plus.

Classroom teachers at Riverview will work closely and collaboratively with their team to develop and implement the RFSD instructional model. You will be supported through ongoing coaching cycles to help continuously improve your craft. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the RFSD instructional model in collaboration with your team.
- Engage in ongoing coaching and feedback cycles to refine teaching practices.
- Build strong relationships with parents, students, and colleagues.
- Intentionally implement culturally responsive instruction.
- Support a diverse population of students, including English Language Learners.
Qualifications
Required
- Colorado Teaching License - Special Education Generalist
Desired
- Elementary teaching experience
- Experience teaching a diverse population of students, including English Language Learners
- Strong background in literacy and mathematics instruction
- Experience with culturally responsive instruction

Pay
Pay range: $56,809 - $86,309, based on education and years of experience.
