Aesthetic Medical Assistant

As an Aesthetic Medical Assistant - Support, you will act as a liaison between the front office and providers to ensure timely and orderly client flow. This role focuses on back-office functions, including client preparation, support of healthcare providers, and clinic operations to promote quality client care. You will report to the clinic manager, who will help determine provider support assignments to maximize clinic productivity. The role also includes assisting with rebooking and product sales to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to clients and team members
- Support aesthetic specialists with patient intake, treatment preparation, and pre/post-care
- Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
- Attend monthly trainings and meetings
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical-grade skincare products and services
- Assist with other duties as assigned, including travel to other locations for training
- Ensure all charting and consents are completed
- Assist with social media content as directed by the clinic manager or provider
- Engage in product sales and rebook appointments in the room
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous work experience as a Medical Assistant
- 1+ years of customer or sales experience required; experience in an aesthetic setting preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, peers, and managers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to clients and flexible to business needs
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
- Proficient with email and Microsoft Word
- Availability to work evenings and weekends

Pay
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
