Aerostructures Manufacturing Supervisor: Second Shift

Basic Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Prior experience with building aircraft assemblies
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience within a Manufacturing Supervisor role
• Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP or similar ERP system, and Solumina

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise a team of hourly bargaining unit employees engaged in major assemblies and complete aircraft structures
• Ensure all components are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered on time
• Manage the productivity of your team while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements
• Facilitate the transition of work between shifts
• Manage and approve employee timekeeping in SAP
• Participate in daily meetings
• Manage employee development and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with standard work and environment, health, and safety (EH&S) requirements

Qualifications

• You are a dedicated and experienced supervisor with a strong background in aerospace or a related field
• You possess excellent leadership skills and are adept at managing teams in a fast-paced environment
• Your attention to detail ensures that all work is completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered on time
• You are committed to continuous improvement and employee development, and you have a strong understanding of safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements
• You have the ability to manage direct and indirect budgets and comply with company ethics policies

Skills

• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreement and supervising hourly/union employees
• Aircraft assembly knowledge
• Good at following and creating procedures
• Operate in a team environment
• Previous Sikorsky Experience
