Basic Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Prior experience with building aircraft assemblies
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience within a Manufacturing Supervisor role
- Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP or similar ERP system, and Solumina
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise a team of hourly bargaining unit employees engaged in major assemblies and complete aircraft structures
- Ensure all components are completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered on time
- Manage the productivity of your team while adhering to safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements
- Facilitate the transition of work between shifts
- Manage and approve employee timekeeping in SAP
- Participate in daily meetings
- Manage employee development and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with standard work and environment, health, and safety (EH&S) requirements
Qualifications
- You are a dedicated and experienced supervisor with a strong background in aerospace or a related field
- You possess excellent leadership skills and are adept at managing teams in a fast-paced environment
- Your attention to detail ensures that all work is completed according to blueprint requirements and delivered on time
- You are committed to continuous improvement and employee development, and you have a strong understanding of safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements
- You have the ability to manage direct and indirect budgets and comply with company ethics policies
Skills
- Familiarity with collective bargaining agreement and supervising hourly/union employees
- Aircraft assembly knowledge
- Good at following and creating procedures
- Operate in a team environment
- Previous Sikorsky Experience
