Responsibilities
- Welds 4130 materials using TIG process
- Fabricates and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
- May prepare the materials and set up for a welding fixture or coworker
- Completes on-the-job training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of a 2-year, vocational welding program and 5 years related experience (preferred)
- Must be able to pass required weld certification per AWS D17.1
- Must be able to pass an AWS eye exam
- Able to work scheduled shift and hours, including overtime
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Use of hand and power tools as required
- Follow all safety procedures
- Able to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time
- Strong attention to detail

Pay
Salary Range: USD $23.27/Hr. - USD $34.88/Hr.
