Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the modification and redefinition of requirements and their verification and validation (V&V) in support of the changes needed to the PPE.
- Ensure the system requirements are accurately and thoroughly defined.
- Define verification methods for all requirements.
- Coincide subsystem and system level test planning for requirement closure criteria.
- Ensure validation of mission requirements and concept of operations.
- Support collaboration between the relevant NASA Centers and PPE industry partners.
Required Skills
- Experience with defining requirements and their V&V.
- Experience with systems engineering for spacecraft hardware.
- Experience with formal systems engineering processes and their documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with the NASA team and their industry partners.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Committed to successful collaboration with the NASA team and industry partners.
Desired Skills
- Knowledge or experience with NASA systems engineering processes.
- Experience with system level and subsystem integration for large spacecraft.
- Experience working with NASA spaceflight hardware projects.
Position Requirements
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
- Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
