Aerospace Structural Engineer/Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze rotary wing flight characteristics, control systems, and dynamic components.
• Develop and evaluate environmental vibration qualification requirements, test plans, and reports.
• Review and interpret vibration and flight test data to verify system performance and handling qualities.
• Ensure aircraft capabilities are accurately reflected in Operator’s Manuals for normal and emergency operations.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3 years of related experience in engineering or related fields.
• Experience with rotary wing systems, vibration analysis, and flight test data review.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD acquisition, engineering programs (military rotary wing of fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
• In-scope DoD Secret security clearance required.

Qualifications

Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance.

Skills

Strong analytical skills, knowledge of rotary wing systems, and experience with vibration analysis and flight test data review.
