Aerospace Quality Inspector - 2nd shift
About the role
This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.
Responsibilities
- Inspection of simple product configurations through the use of single element gauging.
- Uses fixed or variable measuring instruments to inspect parts, products and/or processes and ensure conformance with standards.
- Checks for irregularities and defects.
- Verifies specified dimensions on products or materials.
- Determines appropriate inspection method based on planning requirements.
- Applies visual inspection techniques and performs “Go/No Go” gage type inspections.
- Initiates and completes quality (Inspection) related records and documents under direct supervision.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a job related manufacturing environment.
- Aptitude to perform simple (single element) part inspections under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret the requirements of drawings and planning’s.
- Ability to analyze planning requirements and make sound determination(s) of the appropriate inspection method to be used for product acceptance.
- Possess ability to operate “Single Element” gauging (calipers/micrometers).
- Possess aptitude/ability to perform required inspections using simple inspection set-up(s) constructed by either a higher level Inspector.
Skills
- Ability to use all standard “Go/No Go” inspection equipment.
- Visual inspection techniques.
