About the role

The Trimmer is responsible for cutting and trimming a variety of manufactured composite parts using pneumatic power tools. This role requires little or no prior experience and involves operating machines, factory-related processing equipment, or vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Trim and deburr fabricated components using pneumatic power tools.
  • Sign off on all work performed, reporting all production discrepancies and schedule concerns to supervisor.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment or supplies; promote safety in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.
  • Excellent eye and hand coordination.
  • Skilled in the use of pneumatic router and drills motors.
  • Able to utilize measuring equipment, including scales and calipers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Composite training preferred.
  • One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Composite manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience in aerospace industry preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Skills

  • Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.

Pay

Pay range: $22.25/hr. - $26.25/hr. DOE

Schedule

Weekend Shift Schedule: 4:00AM - 4:30PM, Friday - Sunday

Pay SEKISUI Aerospace is required by Washington law to include the pay for this role when hiring a Washington resident. Pay may be higher or lower for non-resident WA employees, based on the market data for their region, allowing us to pay employees competitively in different geographic markets.
