About the role
Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company providing aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions for aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture, and repair critical turbine components for various industries.
Responsibilities
- Spray coating application with gravity fed handheld spray gun in confined space using rotating shop stand.
- Perform tasks including mixing, thinning, priming, baking, painting, drying, etc.
- Monitor coating application and adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
- Ensure even coating is applied to parts and as directed by traveler.
- Perform all work in accordance with plant safety rules and maintain quality standards.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on painting equipment and tools.
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures for hazardous materials.
- Prepare necessary quality documents and confirm quality of own work using inspection tools.
- Adhere to 5S / CPEX policies and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Requirements
- Must have HS Diploma or GED.
- Strong shop mathematics skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, and fractions.
- Previous painting and/or powder coating experience using handheld spray gun preferred.
- On-the-job experience of 3-5 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must be able to follow instructions, read and interpret blueprints.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
Qualifications
- Must be a US person (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status).

Pay
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
Schedule
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements.
