Aerospace Motors & Controls Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a Motors & Controls Technician with a strong technical foundation and a natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical and control systems. This role is ideal for someone who has grown up fixing things; whether in a manufacturing plant, a family farm, construction sites, maintenance shops, or similar hands ' on environments, and is comfortable working with motors, controls, and equipment that doesn ' t come with a manual solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial motors, motor controls, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving PLC connected equipment, VFDs, and 3 phase power systems.
- Produce clear, organized, and referenced electrical schematics and documentation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
- Apply systematic troubleshooting methods to identify root causes, not just symptoms.
- Support upgrades, retrofits, and equipment improvements in partnership with engineering and operations.
- Maintain compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives.
- Assist with cross training and mentoring other maintenance personnel.
