Aerospace Engineer
About the role
Aerospace engineers design, analyse, and manufacture aerospace components for installation onto aircraft. Using computer-aided design software, they model components and assemblies that meet strict requirements set by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). These components must be strong, manufacturable (using materials like metal, plastic, carbon fibre, or fabric), and easy to maintain or replace throughout their lifecycle. Work takes place in production-line or aftermarket facilities.
