Aerospace Engineer

About the role

As an aerospace engineer, you will utilize your expertise in missiles to develop innovative solutions that directly impact the warfighter. Your responsibilities include evaluating new technologies, performing threat analysis and characterization, and improving the design of defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, analyze, and design tools to inform and assist analytical, defense, and engineering teams across the DoD and IC.
• Collaborate with clients and customers to deliver world-class solutions for evaluating new technologies and innovating new defense solutions.
• Contribute to the direction of solutions by leveraging your engineering knowledge to enhance national security and protect the warfighter.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with aero ballistic guidance navigation and control analysis
• 4+ years of experience with object estimation theories
• 4+ years of experience with EO and IR modeling and simulation of advanced weapons systems
• 2+ years of experience with Python coding
• Knowledge of advanced missile systems
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and engage with clients and customers

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Skills

• Experience coding in MATLAB or C++ (nice to have)
• Knowledge of advanced aerospace materials, structures, and propulsion systems (nice to have)
• Experience with the application of AI/ML methodologies using Python tools (nice to have)

• The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
