Roles & Responsibilities

• Capture the current state: document current operations and work instructions on the shop floor
• Create the Process FMEA (PFMEA) for the manufacturing process
• Design new tooling or perform retro-engineering for parts lacking updated definition, and produce a comprehensive tooling maintenance plan
• Create shop-aid drawings and update / create Work Instructions to bridge the delta from the new design definition (mandatory drawing-update capability)
• Update routing and work orders to reflect the optimized process
• Calculate and optimize TAKT time and cycle time
• Perform Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
• Identify bottlenecks, improve cell layouts, and optimize shop-floor flow
• Create or update the Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) and support testing
• Define packaging specifications for all BUY items
• Support the ENG/ME/QE signature release loop from the manufacturing-engineering side
• Work with high performing global delivery teams and service practices with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients business performance, drive quality in TCS deliverables, and exhibit promptness to internal and external customers
