Position Summary
Employees in this position will apply a variety of maskants to parts in preparation for Cadmium plating application. Maskers may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program. Maskers perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. The FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requires an initial pre-employment drug test including a screen for THC, subject to quarterly Drug & BAT testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with experienced Maskers, Platers, and Department Leads to complete work and prioritize tasks.
- Follow shop traveler, technique card, customer Purchase Orders, and instructions from experienced Maskers, Platers, and Department Leads.
- General review of paperwork to ensure all previous operations were completed.
- Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors.
- Prepare parts prior to operations including mechanical or chemical cleaning.
- Apply maskants to parts as called out in Purchase Orders and Tech Cards.
- Perform pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements.
- Follow Quality Assurance requirements.
- Follow safety precautions as trained.
- Assist in other areas within the Value Stream as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have a regular and dependable attendance record.
- Ability to Read/Write Communicate in English with other employees, Customers, and auditors.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- An export license will be required to work in all areas of the facility.
Education & Experience
- 1-2 years in a manufacturing environment.

Pay
- Salary Range For Position $ 19.30 - $ 21.80.
Schedule
- Normal Shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.).
