Aerospace Assembly Mechanic *Must have rib wing experience*
Job Description
Gather necessary component parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Operate hand tools to install fasteners, bushings, rivets, and nut plates.
Position and secure components per print.
Verify specification by measuring completed components.
- Ability to drill and countersink holes for installation of riveted nut plates, ground studs, bolts and fasteners
- Bushing and bearing installation to include swaging and staking
- Mixing and application of aircraft sealants, mixes, resins and protective coating
Assure quality conformance to company and customer requirements and specifications.
Ability to read blueprints and follow customer specifications.
Inspect own work.
Attend Department and Company Meetings.
Perform all duties in accordance with Dynamic NC Quality Management System and Safety standards, using situation-appropriate tools and protective equipment as applicable.
This position will be responsible for the assembly of clips and brackets.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- A high school diploma / GED
- 1-2 years of previous experience, preferred
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organized, focused, and results-oriented
- Excellent problem solving and prioritizing ability
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace bill of materials, engineering drawings, customer specifications and instructions
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining good quality work
- Must be a self-started and willing to work overtime with minimal notice
- Must have reliable transportation
- Some weekends required
Candidate must have Rib Wing build experience.
