Aero-Optics Engineer for Modeling & Simulation Huntsville, AL - 6 month contract to hire

Responsibilities

• Analyze hypersonic wind tunnel test data
• Develop and validate aero-optical models
• Simulate optical effects for scene generation or flight predictions
• Develop comprehensive and detailed reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Physics, Optical Science, Mathematics, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical area
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Disciplined approach to laboratory work with strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
