Aerie - Merchandising Team Leader (Assistant Manager)
About the role
The full-time Merchandising Team Leader is responsible for developing and implementing the Merchandising strategy for the store. The role involves training and coaching the team to deliver AEO brand Visual standards, ensuring the store is always "guest ready," and representing the company's values.
Responsibilities
Drive sales by maximizing Fitting Room and Salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
Analyze reporting and daily trends to make strategic business decisions and support the Store Team Leader in developing short and long-term business plans to drive key KPIs.
Coach the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, ensuring the store is always representative of AEO Brand Standards and staying in tip-top shape through merchandising, sell-through adjustments, and replenishment.
Motivate and inspire the team through AEO's core values, holding them accountable to customer service standards, especially on the Salesfloor and in the Fitting Room.
Recruit and hire strong talent, train and develop the team to ensure they provide outstanding service, and provide ongoing performance feedback through real-time coaching.
Ensure the store is always guest-ready and maintain visual standards throughout every zone in the store, supporting the team in executing and innovating daily operational procedures.
Ensure store safety standards are maintained, adhere to AEO's policies and procedures, and do the right thing - always.
Qualifications
Loves AE and Aerie products, has led teams in a retail management role previously, has a strong ability to multi-task and set priorities, understands team development and employment law, and has flexible availability.

Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
