Aerial Work Platform Operator

About the role

HOLT Aerial is now hiring for the 2026 season. We are seeking Seasonal Aerial Platform Operators who are comfortable with heights and enjoy travel. As an Aerial Platform Operator, you will assist clients by operating aerial lifts to enable troubleshooting and maintenance work at power plants, wind farms, refineries, and similar sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate aerial lifts capable of reaching up to 350 feet in the air.
• Follow all company and manufacturer safety guidelines for equipment operation.
• Attend daily safety meetings and adhere to safe driving practices in the field.
• Drive company trucks as required.
• Work at heights up to 341 feet.
• Lift up to 65 lbs.
• Assist the fleet team in mobilizing equipment away from project sites.
• Support mechanics in the shop when not on projects.
• Help move equipment or personnel between projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Meet safety requirements with body weight not exceeding 300 lbs.
• Available to travel for 40–45 weeks per year.
• Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
• Equipment maintenance experience is a plus.

Work environment

• Power plants, wind farms, refineries, and similar outdoor industrial sites.
• Work performed in the elements.

Compensation

• $18.00–$20.00 per hour with per diem.
• Company covers travel to and from job locations and provides hotel accommodations.

Schedule

• Seasonal role with travel expected 40–45 weeks per year.
• Daily safety meetings and adherence to safe work practices.
