AEMT

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, determine necessary care and administer emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Record patient information, condition, and treatment details while ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient rights.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked ambulance environment.
• Utilize EMT skills including communication, medical equipment handling, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
• Operate an ambulance safely and legally according to company policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health professionals and other EMTs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligibility
• CPR certification
• NREMT certification preferred
• Valid Kansas Driver’s License
• Compliant driving record
• Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)

Qualifications

Interested candidates should have a passion for emergency medical care and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate service. Experience in emergency medical services is preferred but not required.

Skills

Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations are essential.
