Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients, determine necessary care and administer emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Record patient information, condition, and treatment details while ensuring confidentiality and respect for patient rights.
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked ambulance environment.
- Utilize EMT skills including communication, medical equipment handling, cleaning procedures, and office tools.
- Operate an ambulance safely and legally according to company policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health professionals and other EMTs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligibility
- CPR certification
- NREMT certification preferred
- Valid Kansas Driver’s License
- Compliant driving record
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
Qualifications
Interested candidates should have a passion for emergency medical care and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate service. Experience in emergency medical services is preferred but not required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations are essential.
