Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and determine necessary care.
- Deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
- Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
- Create a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
- Utilize appropriate EMT skills to provide care including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
- Operate an ambulance according to company safety policies and traffic laws.
- Collaborate and work professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow EMTs.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Kansas EMT Certification or Kansas Eligibility
- CPR certification
- NREMT certification preferred
- State Driver’s License
- Driving record compliant with company policy
- Pass Physical Ability Test (PAT)
