AmeriPro EMS is hiring experienced Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) to provide high-quality Advanced Life Support (ALS) care under approved protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide BLS and limited ALS patient care in accordance with protocols
• Establish and maintain IV access and administer approved medications
• Perform advanced airway management, including supraglottic airways
• Assist Paramedics with ALS interventions when applicable
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
• Safely operate emergency vehicles and equipment
• Accurately complete patient care documentation
• Maintain readiness of ambulance, equipment, and medications

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
• Reach with hands and arms
• Talk or hear
• Frequently is required to stand and walk
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, stand, or balance
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 180 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 300 pounds with assistance from others
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Qualifications

• Previous EMT work experience
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
• Technology proficiency
• Certification & Licensure Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification, Current State Paramedic licensure in good standing, Current National Registry NREMT certification (if required by state), Current CPR BLS, ACLS, PCC/PALS certifications, Valid State driver's license, FEMA IS Certifications (IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800), Current Ventilator certification with required renewal every three years, Successful completion of written and practial exam
• Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate in a team
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute instructions in English
