About the role
We are seeking experienced helicopter pilots to operate aircraft safely and in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Air Evac EMS Operations Manual, and local regulations. This role involves providing emergency medical transport and related services as part of a dedicated team of medical, pilot, and maintenance professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conducting preflight inspections
- Monitoring weather conditions
- Ensuring adherence to the Rotorcraft Flight Manual
- Operating aircraft efficiently
- Reporting discrepancies
- Staying current on weather updates
Qualifications
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Commercial Certificate
- Instrument Rating
- Minimum of 2000 total flight hours
- 1500 helicopter hours
- 1000 pilot-in-command hours
- Night unaided experience or equivalent
- Passing FAA medical exams
- Meeting weight limits
- Uploading relevant licenses and certificates
